Welcome to the Maritime Oddfellows Home Web Site

The Maritime Odd Fellows Home is a 47 bed Continuing Care Facility located in the town of Pictou, Nova Scotia. The Home is owned and operated by the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs of Atlantic Canada and was established in 1923. It has the distinction of being the first home of its kind in the Maritimes.

We pride ourselves in the Philosophy of Care at the Home. On May 20, 1999, we moved from the former facility which was built in the 1800's to our beautiful new home which has been built to be not only "resident focused" but "community minded". When one enter a Home such as ours, life does not or should not isolate you from the community which has been so much a part of your lives.

We are here to serve you and meet your needs. Without our residents and community, we would have no purpose or reason to exist. You and your family / loved ones are considered "one" to us and we value and appreciation that opportunity and trust.

OUR MISSION
In keeping with the original purpose of the Maritime Odd Fellows and Rebekahs; the Home has been established to meet the needs of those entrusted in our care both within the facility and in our community.
